Playbooks
Playbooks Built With AI. Never Improvised at Runtime.
Deterministic Response, Without the Authoring Backlog
Legacy SOAR made playbooks the product and left your engineers maintaining them. Morpheus flips that. The investigation produces the evidence, Morpheus drafts the playbook from it, your team reviews and approves it, and from then on it runs deterministically. The AI does the writing. The human sets the limits. The runtime does exactly what was approved.
Draft From the Investigation
Attack Path Discovery traces the alert across identities, endpoints, cloud and email. Morpheus drafts the response plan against that path, mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, with each action tagged by command risk.
Keep Your Team in Control
Analysts review, edit and publish playbooks in a visual editor with no code required. Team leads set who can edit and who can publish. Expert users can drop into code where they want to.
Run Them Across Any Stack
Playbooks execute through 800+ self-healing integrations. Swap a tool and the playbook keeps running; when a vendor changes an API, the connector repairs itself.
The Morpheus approach
Playbooks for the Known. Bounded Reasoning for the Novel.
Deterministic by Default
Roughly 70 to 80 percent of every Morpheus run is deterministic. Where a playbook author pre-scripted the path, Morpheus follows it exactly.

Agentic Task Inside the Playbook
When an alert presents evidence the playbook could not anticipate, a single Agentic Task node runs bounded reasoning inside the same playbook, with caps on iterations, cost and tool scope, then hands control back.

Four Autonomy Modes
The same playbook runs under Deterministic, AI-Assisted, AI-Led or Autonomous. What changes is who approves each step, not the playbook.
Two Tiers of Automation
Alert-level playbooks run triage and dismissal rules you set. Incident-level playbooks run enrichment and response on confirmed cases.

Scheduled Runs
Recurring playbooks for health checks, indicator sweeps and the hypotheses your team wants tested on a cadence.

One Audit Trail
Every playbook step, approval and command outcome lands on the incident’s single record, whether a playbook or an Agentic Task acted.
How it works
Review, Approve, Test and Deploy From One Interface
The Morpheus editor shows the drafted playbook, the playbook library, the available integrations, utility commands and a testing panel that lets you check every action before publishing. Manage the lifecycle with access controls, version history and rollback.
Reusable blocks keep common sequences consistent across playbooks and tenants. Playbook analytics show which steps run, which wait on approval and where time is lost, so the next revision is based on evidence rather than guesswork.
