Itinerary: Quick Talks From D3 and Microsoft Security
Our agenda for the evening is all about making sure the cocktails and conversations are flowing. But before we let the drinks and dialogue take over completely, we also have three 5-minute talks from three industry veterans that you don’t want to miss. Mike Lyons, D3 Security’s CRO, will deliver the opening remarks. Next, you’ll get to hear from Eric Burkholder, Senior Program Manager at Microsoft, who will discuss the latest developments in the Microsoft Security Ecosystem. Next up is Gordon Benoit, Founder and President of D3 Security, who will share his thoughts on how technology can transform the analyst experience. Here’s a short bio on each of the speakers.
Mike Lyons, CRO, D3 Security
As D3 Security’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Michael leads the company’s global sales initiatives. Michael is a widely known sales and channel leader, with more than 20 years of experience in successfully increasing the value and revenue of IT security companies. Michael’s expertise in sales strategy and program execution is highly sought after by technology companies, including in positions on advisory boards.
Eric Burkholder, Sr. Program Manager, Microsoft
Eric Burkholder leads Technology Integration and Partner Strategy for Microsoft Sentinel. His current program enables companies, whose products contain cybersecurity signals, insights/conclusions, and process guidance needed by SecOps teams, land their value via Microsoft Sentinel in addition to driving partner strategy and execution for Microsoft Sentinel. Eric has held engineering, engineering leadership, business development and corporate strategy roles over his more than 30 years in the industry.
Gordon Benoit, President, D3 Security
Gordon is the Founder and President of D3 Security. For 25+ years, Gordon has built great technology companies and ensured their long-term success. Gordon’s experience prior to D3 includes being founder and president of a data mining company whose innovative solutions introduced the Big Data era to many of the world’s largest corporations.
