RSA Conference (RSAC) is one of the largest cybersecurity gatherings in the world, and our team at D3 Security is excited to join this year’s event to showcase Morpheus AI at Booth N-4400 in the North Expo. If you’re heading to San Francisco this April 28, to May 1, we hope you’ll stop by for a live demo of autonomous SOC capabilities in action.
Named for the pioneering cryptographers behind the RSA algorithm (Ron Rivest, Adi Shamir, and Leonard Adleman), RSAC has evolved into a massive, enriching whirlwind of activity. You’ll experience buzzing expo floors, thought-provoking keynotes, and endless opportunities to connect with the brightest minds in cybersecurity.
- Founded: 1991, and now held annually in SF and globally
- Venue: Moscone Center (downtown San Francisco)
- Vibe: High-energy and community-driven with unparalleled opportunities to elevate your skills and expand your network.
“Many Voices. One Community.”, 2025’s Theme & Hot Topics
RSAC’s 2025 theme is “Many Voices. One Community.”, inspired by 13th-century poet Rumi’s saying: “Lamps are different, but light is the same.” It’s a nod to the collaborative spirit of the security community: diverse perspectives uniting against shared threats.
This year’s agenda features 500+ sessions, with heavy emphasis on Identity Security and AI-driven innovations. Topics like generative AI, agentic AI (autonomous agents), and identity-based threats are everywhere. This aligns perfectly with Morpheus AI, which delivers autonomous investigation, triage, and response for security teams.
Tip: Jot down a few must-see sessions in advance, and don’t forget to include Booth N-4400 on your expo floor tour to see how Morpheus can deliver 100% alert coverage with 95% of alerts triaged in under 2 minutes.

Dress for Success: Comfy Shoes & Layers are a Must
One unglamorous truth about RSAC: you’ll be on your feet. A lot. The Moscone Center spans multiple blocks, and you might rack up 20,000–30,000 steps a day hustling between sessions, meetings, and booths. Wear comfortable shoes!
And remember, there will be swag. Some of it is really good (like our own D3 Morpheus AI tees) so you’ll want to leave plenty of room in your suitcase to haul those choice goods home. Who doesn’t need another pair of Fortinet socks?
Plan Your Agenda & Use the RSAC App
RSAC is huge, don’t wing it. Take time before you arrive to map out a game plan. Bookmark the RSAC mobile experience and pre-select sessions, keynotes, and panels you want to attend. Many talks fill up, and you don’t want to be stuck outside a “Full” session sign.
Pro Tip: If there are particular people or vendors you want to meet, reach out and schedule a meeting in advance. We invite you to schedule a meeting with our team to learn more about Morpheus AI at RSAC.
Innovation Sandbox & Keynotes: Future Vision Unveiled
The Innovation Sandbox Contest celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025. This year, RSAC is upping the stakes: the Top 10 startup finalists each get a $5 million investment. That means when you attend the live Innovation Sandbox presentations (usually on Monday), you’re literally watching companies duke it out with $50 million potentially on the line.
Equally important are the Keynote sessions throughout the week. These are where industry leaders, from Fortune 500 CISOs to pioneering researchers, share insights and set the tone for the year ahead.
Meet Morpheus: The Autonomous SOC at Booth N-4400
One of the most buzzed-about innovations this year is Morpheus, our AI-powered autonomous Security Operations Center (SOC) solution being demoed live at RSAC. When it comes to Morpheus, seeing is believing. So make sure to swing by Booth N-4400 in the North Expo. Morpheus is like having the world’s best security analyst and incident responder run down every single alert, up to millions per day. It investigates and triages alerts autonomously across your entire security stack, providing instant attack timelines and guided remediation steps, all with human oversight as needed.
Morpheus delivers 100% alert coverage and can triage 95% of alerts in under 2 minutes. Morpheus isn’t tied to any single vendor; it integrates with 800+ tools (SIEMs, EDRs, cloud platforms, SOARs, etc.) to adapt to whatever stack you’re running.
What to expect at the demo: A hands-on look at how Morpheus ingests alerts, and then uses deep alert context to create dynamic, context-driven responses, tailored to your stack. It’s a chance to chat with our engineers and see an AI SOC in action. For security leaders interested in AI-driven SecOps (which, judging by RSAC’s agenda, is just about everyone), Morpheus is a must-see.
Explore the Expo Hall (aka Security Disneyland)
The RSAC Expo Hall is massive, a sprawling maze of booths in Moscone North and South where hundreds of vendors showcase their latest and greatest. From industry giants to stealth-mode startups, you’ll find every corner of cybersecurity represented. Often, companies will have fun interactive setups, think hacking challenges, VR demos, and…golf putting.

RSAC Pro Tip: Early Bird Gets the Swag
Hit the Conference floor early during the Welcome Reception (typically held the evening before the main conference starts). Yes, we’re serious! This gives you first pick of everyone’s swag and lets you see all the vendors you need before Day 1 even begins. Plus, there’s food and beverages available. It’s a much more relaxed environment to explore the expo floor without the daytime crowds.
Network at Night: Parties, Receptions & Meetups
RSAC is also one of the best weeks of the year for networking and social events in cybersecurity. When the expo floor closes, the fun (often) just begins. Nearly every evening there are parties, happy hours, and receptions hosted by various companies or organizations.
Events include vendor-specific parties, community meetups, and RSAC’s own CyBEER Ops craft beer tasting. There’s even a “Rockin’ Mocktails” sober networking event for those who prefer to connect without alcohol.
Must-Attend: CrowdStrike Party
If you only make it to one vendor party, make it “Covert Pour: A CrowdStrike & Friends Mixer.” This has become one of the most popular networking events at RSAC, with excellent opportunities to meet security professionals in a more relaxed setting. The vibe is more conversational than pitchy, and you’re bound to make valuable connections while enjoying top-notch refreshments.
Insider Tip: Pace your party schedule and pick one or two that you really want to attend, and prioritize them. Find the balance that works for you. And be ready to swap LinkedIn info.

Get Away From It All: Ocean Beach Escape
For a true mental reset, consider taking a mini-vacation to Ocean Beach at the far west end of Balboa Street. This beautiful sandy beach with big waves, surfers, shore fishermen, and great dunes offers a complete change of scenery from downtown conference life. It’s perfect for a 2-hour escape during your conference trip, the sound of crashing waves and fresh ocean air will recharge you completely. Pro Pro Tip: Conclude your beach outing with a visit to the restaurants near Taraval & 47th: Brothers Pizza (and curry), Andytown Coffee Roasters, Underdogs Too (tacos), and Riptide bar. Grab an Uber or take public transit (the N-Judah Muni line goes all the way out there), and you’ll feel like you’ve left the conference far behind.

Master Moscone: North, South, and West
The Moscone Center is actually three buildings (North, South, West), understanding this layout will save you time (and footsteps). Moscone North and South face each other across Howard Street and are connected by both an underground concourse and an overstreet skybridge. These two host the giant Expo halls (downstairs) and some session rooms. Moscone West is a separate building one block away (at 4th & Howard), it hosts many of the track sessions (2nd and 3rd floors), keynote halls, and more.
A few navigation hacks: If you need to move between North and South, use the skybridge or the underground passage to avoid traffic outside. Give yourself at least 5-10 minutes to walk from a West Moscone session to a North/South expo meeting (and vice versa).
Get Your Caffeine Fix (Without the 15-Minute Line)
Coffee is the lifeblood of conference-goers, and RSAC is no exception. The bad news? Every Starbucks around Moscone will be swamped in the morning and between sessions. Don’t be shocked to find 10-15 minute waits for coffee at the big-name cafes nearby. The good news is, you have options to stay energized:
- Conference Coffee Stations: Inside Moscone, especially in West near session halls, RSAC often sets up coffee/tea points.
- Vendor Booths: Many vendors on the expo floor serve free espresso or lattes at their booths!
- Local Cafés: Within a couple blocks are great local coffee spots. Blue Bottle Coffee at Mint Plaza (5th and Mission) is a favorite for third-wave coffee geeks.
Beat the Lunch Rush (or Embrace It with Freebies)
Food options at RSAC can be tricky simply because of timing. Prime lunch hour (11:30 AM, 1:30 PM) sees huge lines at every nearby restaurant and the Moscone food court. If you’re short on time or patience, plan to eat a bit late. “If you eat lunch after 2 PM, it’ll be much calmer,” one veteran advises.
Consider scheduling a big breakfast and then a late lunch to skip the peak crunch entirely. Alternatively, snack strategically. Toss a protein bar, nuts, or fruit in your bag so you can tide yourself over.
Tasty Bites Nearby (Beyond Moscone’s Walls)
When you do venture out for a meal, you’re in luck, downtown SF has a little of everything. Within a few blocks of Moscone you’ll find excellent options:
- Oren’s Hummus, Only ~0.2 miles away, this spot offers delicious Middle Eastern fare.
- Yank Sing, About 0.5 miles from Moscone, Yank Sing is an institution for dim sum in San Francisco.
- Muracci’s Curry, Roughly 0.5 miles (on Kearny St). This is a hidden gem for Japanese curry.
- La Fromagerie, ~0.5 miles, a French café/cheese shop.
- Taqueria Cancun, About 3 blocks away on Mission St. Cheap, tasty Mexican food.
Quick Bite, Many Options: Metreon Food Court
For a convenient meal with plenty of choices, head to the food court in the Metreon mall, just immediately west of Moscone. It offers a variety of takeout restaurants for every taste. Our personal favorite is Nick the Greek for quick, delicious Greek street food, but you’ll also find sushi, burgers, salads, and more. The food court provides ample seating, and you can be in and out in 30 minutes if you’re pressed for time between sessions.
Forgot Something? Target at Metreon to the Rescue
Need an extra charger, some tape, aspirin, or just a quick snack restock? You’re in luck: there’s a Target store literally one block from Moscone, in the Metreon center. This Target has a bit of everything, electronics, snacks, basic meds, even luggage, and can be a lifesaver if you left something at home or your hotel.
Pro Tip: Go early in the week. “Target will run out of things over the course of the event. Better to pack them, order them, or hit up the stores early in the week to get what you need!”

Yerba Buena Gardens: Your Urban Oasis
Just outside Moscone North lies Yerba Buena Gardens (YBG), two blocks of green space, art, and calm in the middle of downtown. Fun fact: the southern block of YBG is actually the roof of Moscone South! It’s a park built atop the convention center, which is why you can exit Moscone North’s back doors and find yourself in a garden.
YBG features a lovely lawn and seating area, a waterfall fountain memorial (dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr.), and plenty of nooks to sit and relax. Many RSAC attendees grab a coffee or lunch and come here to escape the crowds for a few minutes.
Art Break: The SFMOMA is Next Door
If you’re an art lover (or just need a change of scenery), the renowned San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) is literally across the street from Moscone West. While you might not have time to explore it during conference hours, SFMOMA is open late on Thursdays (usually until 9 p.m.).
Skyline Views at The View Lounge (Marriott Marquis)
After a long day, sometimes you just want to relax with a drink and a great view. Head up to The View Lounge on the 39th floor of the Marriott Marquis (the big hotel just across Mission Street from Moscone). True to its name, this upscale lounge offers stunning panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline and Bay.
Capture the Moment, Take Notes & Pics
With everything happening so fast, you’ll want to capture key insights and memories so they don’t slip away. Take notes and snapping photos as you go. If a speaker shares an insightful slide, take a quick picture of it. These visuals will help jog your memory later.
Similarly, jot down notes, whether in a notebook or on your phone. Those notes will be gold when you’re writing trip reports or following up post-conference.
Badge Perks: Flash Your RSAC Badge for Deals
Your RSAC attendee badge is also a ticket to some sweet discounts and freebies around town. Many local businesses know thousands of tech professionals are in town and offer “show your badge” specials during conference week.

Embrace the RSAC Experience and Have Fun
