VANCOUVER, British Columbia – D3 Security, an innovator in Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) technology, today announced that it has achieved technical integration of the D3 SOAR Platform with the McAfee® Enterprise Security Manager (ESM), enabling accelerated threat detection, analysis, incident response and post-event reporting, and allowing security teams to coordinate seamlessly across all of their tools and resources.

As a member of the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance, D3 Security plays a critical role in the program’s mission to accelerate the development of interoperable security products and to simplify the integration of these products within complex customer environments, bringing better value and more protection against the growing threat landscape to joint customers. Through this partnership, D3 Security and McAfee address a rising need to shorten response times through orchestration and automation, and more easily remediate compromised systems, leading to a simplified Threat Defense Lifecycle.

“We are excited to add D3 Security to the select list of Technology Partners in the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance program,” said D.J. Long, head of McAfee Security Innovation Alliance. “We expect our joint solution to improve customers’ efficiency, efficacy and speed of incident response, while also reducing operational costs and strengthening compliance.”

Today, all major enterprises must be able to quickly identify, investigate and remediate security threats. The D3 SOAR Platform is purpose-built for this task; combining fast-acting orchestration and automation with deep case management and analytical reporting capabilities. Platform features include hundreds of out-of-the-box and customizable playbooks, an intuitive visual playbook editor, and an app library with 200+ technology integrations—no coding required. Plus, unlike other SOAR providers, D3 can extend incident response guidance far beyond the SOC, to include all the digital forensics, privacy investigation, and compliance steps that may be required. Even templates for exhibit tracking, legal/HR holds and breach notification letters are built into these “full-lifecycle” workflows.

“We continuously work with our customers to deliver practical innovations for SecOps and IR,” said D3 Security President and Founder, Gordon Benoit. “That’s why, with D3 SOAR, you can fully automate incident response, combine human and machine processes, and measure the time- and cost-savings of automation. You can also guide responders, whether they’re in the SOC, the forensics lab, or even the HR or PR department, through their obligations with precision. By joining forces with McAfee, we look forward to extending this unique combination of innovation throughout the enterprise.”

This partnership is rounding out an impressive year for D3 Security, which saw the company experience record-breaking growth in revenue and active enterprise customers, including 50+ bookings from the Fortune 500 in 2018 alone. The Security Innovation Network (SINET) recognized D3 Security as a prestigious SINET16 Innovator, while several Information Security organizations named D3 SOAR the top Security Automation solution, including Info Security Product Guide, Cyber Defense Magazine, and the CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards. The company was also named a 2018 SC Awards finalist.
