The D3 team is excited to be gearing up for one of the biggest cybersecurity events of the year: RSA Conference 2020. We’ve been attending the conference for many years, and we always come back inspired by the partners, clients, and industry leaders we cross paths with at the event. RSA Conference 2020 runs from February 24-27 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, and you can find D3 at Booth #N6340 in the North Hall. We hope you’ll come by for a chat and maybe a quick demo of our software.
This year’s RSA Conference is particularly special for us because we will be demoing the brand new version of D3 SOAR, which is a total reimagining of our platform. Here are a few of the things you’ll learn about when you come by our booth:
No-Code Playbooks
We have coded our 260+ integrations completely in the back end, enabling true drag-and-drop playbooks. Every action can simply be selected from a dropdown menu, with no user Python scripting required. This makes building playbooks easier and faster, of course, but more importantly, it greatly reduces the time and resources that teams have to spend on maintaining their SOAR platform because they no longer have to rewrite all their scripts when something changes.
Embedded MITRE ATT&CK Matrix
Uniquely among SOAR platforms, D3 has embedded the entire MITRE ATT&CK Matrix for automated detection and correlation of attacker tactics and techniques. D3 can tag events with ATT&CK tactics and techniques based on MITRE’s criteria, giving users immediate context for events, and creating a foundation for valuable trend reporting and kill-chain-based threat hunting.
Independent Platform
Recent moves in the industry have left D3 standing as one of the only truly independent SOAR platforms. This has significant implications for clients. SOAR vendors that are owned by larger security companies have inherent conflicts of interest around the tools with which they integrate. For instance, if their parent company produces a firewall product, integrations with competitors’ firewalls are unlikely to get the same amount of support and resources. SOAR relies heavily on integrations, so vendor-neutral platforms like D3 provide a significant advantage—something that was highlighted by Gartner in their SOAR Market Guide last year.
Be sure to come by Booth #N6340 and meet our the D3 team. We’ll be giving out t-shirts, which always go fast, as well as some other D3 swag.
